yesterday that it was January:

In this episode, I wanted to share with you two trends that both of these companies have in their branding and how it can apply to our own TPT business or teacher business. Both of these coffee shops are unique and for different reasons attracted me to actually give them a chance and try them out. I think it's so important to stay top of mind on what's trending in graphic design, not just among TPT but also universally like when you're noticing things on websites or commercials or Instagram feeds everywhere you see brands, I'm sure you might have noticed a shift in how designs look and what the style is. It's always something to be aware of. So that you're staying top of mind. I always love to preach, stay current and irrelevant. And just kind of take note of what other brands are doing and seeing what elements you can incorporate into your own TPT business. Your brand is always evolving with the times and you don't want it to stay stagnant.

All right, here's a TPT tip so that you can apply it to your own business. One of my favorite font artists for creating TPT resources is Caitlyn Albani or K fonts. She's got a TPT store and if you pretty much she's pretty much everywhere like if you type in que fonts you'll find her on several websites including Etsy. She's got a variety of fun retro fonts with a unique twist. And it could be the perfect way to stay current and relevant by adding a fun font to your product listings, your Pinterest pins or your social media graphics or reels templates. You could also go into Canva and find some pretty cool fonts there. If you go in the template section, you'll see a lot of trending templates and you can kind of pick up on some of the cool fonts and see what the name of those fonts are and add them to your brand kit, if you're a Canva Pro user, so that is wrapping up the first graphic design trend, see what you can do to add some modern nostalgia elements in your brand visuals on your website or Instagram feed. Another graphic design trend you might see around you is called fonts with personality. As TPT sellers, we love fun and playful fonts that has never changed. Luckily, it's also a trend in the graphic design world as well. A lot of bigger brands are navigating away from the typical well known fonts in favor of more unique fonts that help them stand apart.

With that being said, this is the end of the episode. If you ever want to stop by Austin, come hit me up. We could go to one of the coffee places that I mentioned. I'll take you to sour moon or Black Rock coffee or we can just go coffee Hoppy, I don't know. Well, anyway, I hope you have an excellent rest of the week.
