What is Spring Fling?
Welcome to this original event designed specifically for passionate teacher business owners who want to use their business to make an impact.
You can think of this as a tiny business training experience for teachers. No one is an expert in everything and you don’t have to figure out how to run a business alone.
Spring Fling is an annual free online conference for teacher business owners who are just getting started, or have been running their business for a long time, and everyone in between.
Tune in to connect with some of the best leaders in the teacher business industry and find clarity about how to take your next steps in starting, building, or growing your business.
We've put together a collection of sessions focused on helping you take action to move your business forward.
There are 30+ on-demand sessions and panel discussions designed to guide you through specific ways to improve your running a business skills.

Spring Fling started as a small idea in December 2019 - we dreamed of creating an online space to bring teacher business owners together to learn from each other.
In the years since then, our small idea has grown into one of the biggest online events of the year. Through all our conferences, we've stuck with the same foundation:
Spring Fling is free for the weekend. We want to make a way for as many people as possible to attend the event and keeping it free for one weekend is an important part of this.
Relationships and value come first. It's really important to us that our attendees leave the event without feeling like the sessions they attended were just sneaky sales pitches. We carefully select presenters who believe in our mission.
There's always more to learn. No matter how long you've been in business, there are always new things to learn. We select sessions on a wide variety of topics so teachers with varying amounts of experience can find sessions that meet their needs and interests.

Things are changing quickly in the teacher business world. I get it. I've been running my business online since 2016.
If we haven’t met before, here’s the most important things you need to know about me:
I’m a teacher, business owner, and instructional designer with a small obsession for all things branding and Instagram and an even bigger obsession with connection, community, and relationships.
My business started with my TPT store and grew to include my resources and services to help other teachers discover how to make Instagram work for them.
I had a moment in December 2019 when I was switching between tabs on my laptop to read blog posts from several different creators and I thought - there needs to be a way to bring teacher business owners together in one space online to learn from each other.
Since then, I’ve hosted multiple online events and collaborated with nearly 100 incredible teacher business leaders to help thousands of other teachers with a business learn how to start, grow, and scale their own businesses.
My most popular event, Spring Fling, has grown to be one of the biggest online events for teacher business owners - more than 2,500 teachers attended Spring Fling in 2023.
Through all my events, I've stuck with the same foundation:

Friday, March 22 - Conference sessions are made available for free for all attendees
Sunday, March 24 - Conference ends and sessions are no longer available unless you upgrade to a Power Pass.
